Your Wildest Dreams Are Supposed to Scare You. If They Don’t, What’s The Point?

Also, fear is your friend

“If your dreams don’t scare you, they are too small.”

Richard Branson said that.

I remember coming across this quote of his once and thinking, Why would I want my dreams to scare me? Then I’ll never pursue them.

But I now realize just how true his words are.

We all have dreams

No matter how big or small, wild or tame, unrealistic or sensible they are, we all have them.

For many of us, though, those dreams will forever remain only dreams. They may never escape our minds or souls. It’s possible that no one but us will ever know they exist because we keep them hidden deep within us.

And it’s understandable. It takes courage to share our dreams with others-even the people we are closest to and trust the most. It’s even more difficult to share those dreams with the world; to put ourselves out there and tell the world what we most wish for. It’s a very personal thing.

Chances are, you probably have at least one dream you’ve never told anybody about. Hopefully, it’s because it scares even you way too much.
