There really is magic in words

Sometimes you have no idea what can come from a simple conversation.

That’s the magic of words.

One moment you can think you’re just having some run-of-the-mill, normal conversation, and the next, your idea machine has been turned on, and you can see a story forming in your mind’s eye.

It gives you energy, it excites you, and it lights you up. You can see the words appearing on a blank page, Harry Potter-style, even though you’re currently walking on a pathway beside the river, the moon and stars your only light.

Just seconds ago, you were explaining the frustration of not being able to remember your ideas if you don’t write them down immediately. And now, a brand new idea about ideas is surfacing.

Life can be funny like that sometimes. You never know when that spark will come, and it often comes when you least expect it.

This is the experience I had last night.

My partner and I were on our nightly walk around town, which is often when we talk about our day, share what we were working on, and just generally spend time together.
