Waking Up Early Is Not Going To Change Your Life. You Are.
“Why do you get up so early!?” she asked me from the other end of the couch. “What do you do with your time?”
It was a good question, and one that I think many people have. I know I used to wonder that same thing.
You’ve probably heard about the benefits of waking up early — that all the most successful people in the world do it. You may even have read some research on the subject from experts in their fields.
But have you actually tried it?
If you’re like most people, not likely. And that’s okay.
Until recently, I was like you. I was notorious for sleeping in, especially in my teens and early 20s. If I dragged myself out of bed before noon, I’d shock people.
“What are you doing up so early!?” my family would joke.
As nice as it was to be cozy, warm and carefree for as long as possible each day, I started to get tired of it after awhile.
Snoozing Became Boring
I got tired of hitting the snooze button 50 times in the morning, only to jump up last minute and race around the house in a mad dash to leave for work.
