True Safety Is Found in Learning to Let Go

Let whatever happens, happen

Some days just don’t go the way you want them to go.

But you know what?

That’s life.

Things happen.

So, let them.

Let whatever happens, happen—because it’s going to anyway.

There’s no sense in fighting it or letting it ruin your day.

Not every day is going to be good.

Some are just hard, and that’s okay.

There are very few things in life that we actually have control over.

This isn’t what we’re taught, though.

We’re taught to try to control everything around us, to take the “safe” path.

But I think true safety is found in learning to let go.

Only when you give up the quest for control can you truly find your footing, even on uneven ground.

Stability comes from within, from knowing that you’ll be alright, no matter what’s going on in your outer world.

Everything could be crumbling around you, but as long as you’ve got your own back, you’ll find a way through.
