These Words Kept Me Going When I Wanted to Give Up

They’ve never left me since I first heard them years ago

“Winners never quit, and quitters never win.”

Those words echo through my mind, as if I’m still in that audience. I can feel the energy of the room, like I’m right back in that moment.

Lisa Nichols is on stage, and the crowd is chanting that sentence, following her lead.

It’s hard not to get swept up in the power of hundreds, or maybe even thousands of people all acting as one.

I hear myself repeating those same words, and with each repetition, I start to believe it.

It’s 8 p.m. on a Saturday in January.

A new year has just begun, and I’m sitting at my desk at the far end of the house.

I’ve just finished listening to a webinar about high-ticket offers, hearing about how I could be making $5,000 to $10,000 a month by selling the skills I already have to a handful of clients willing to pay top dollar for them.

It sounds alluring.
