There Are Endless Ways to Become the Thing You Dream of
Your path is meant to be different, so keep following it
If you read about the journeys of your favourite writers, or the most famous writers, or even your writer friends, one thing is certain to be the case: everyone’s path will look different.
This is true of artists, actors, singers, and others in the public eye too. We see them as what they are today — as the job they do. But unless we know them personally or commit to doing some digging, we’re unlikely to know how they got to where they are, or what paths they took to end up there.
We forget that before they were who the world knows them as, they were just regular people like you and me. We also forget that underneath all the fame and wealth and celebrity stardom, they’re still just people.
And, just like everyone else, their lives were unfolding and taking them on a journey that they may never have imagined they’d end up on. And yet, a series of events unique to them unfolded before them, like a breadcrumb trail leading through a forest.
