Every Time You Write, You Have the Power to Help or Hurt Others
So, which is it going to be?
If there’s one thing you’re almost guaranteed to come across every single day of your life, it’s complaining.
Those of us who write on this platform will likely have noticed that complaining about this platform seems to be the most popular kind of complaining!
It’s ironic, really.
Unfortunately, rather than finding it all a little funny (or just plain bizarre), more than anything, it makes me sad.
With each one of these posts that you come across, the weight on your shoulders gets heavier and heavier, and the cloud hanging over your head gets darker and darker. And if you allow yourself to keep reading more and more of these ‘doom and gloom’ articles, you will eventually feel like you’ve had the life force sucked right out of you.
Before long, you’ll be sitting there staring at your screen, totally defeated and lacking any desire to write, regardless of how inspired and motivated and energized you felt when you first sat down this morning.
This is the power words have.
And when you really think about it, you realize that it’s a miraculous power — and one that should not be taken lightly.
