A Question We Should All Consider If We Want to Live a More Meaningful Life
How will you make the most of life?
We’ve all heard this expression somewhere:
“Life is short, so make the most of it.”
But have you ever stopped to consider what that actually means to you?
For me, it seems like a no-brainer. Why wouldn’t you want to do all you can with the life you’ve been given? Why wouldn’t you want to experience as much as possible while you’re alive? There’s no way you could argue with this.
But this advice has gotten lost somewhere in the fast-paced, high-tech modern world we live in. No one has time to do much more than just get through each day.
Forget doing things that make us feel alive; most of us are just trying to survive.
Finding The Meaning
“Making the most of life” could mean something different to every single person. And so it should, because we are all different.
What it really comes down to is our values. If our circumstances afford it, then whatever we value most in life is likely what we’ll choose to spend the most time doing.
